Comparison on Moonlight, Skyfall and Kingsman

Moonlight, Kingsman and Skyfall

Throughout the film industry the representation of masculinity can be shown even since the first film in 1890s where men can be seen to have power over all other characters within the film. This can be seen in the films Kingsman (2014)Dir.M.Vaughn and Skyfall (2012)Dir.S.Mendes however, the film Moonlight (2016)Dir.B.Jenkins has a different aspect of masculinity through love.

However, in the film Kinsman it follows the same genre of action and is a spy film where they have unique skills but it becomes more modern with all sorts of gadgets that they use throughout. It is able to show that only men can be the best spy's ever created however, within the film Moonlight you are able to see the complete opposite where the main character is weak and humble. The film Moonlight shows love through masculinity but by being gay which emphasis's their passion but the genre of the film is a drama rather than an action film.

  1. Jordan. Not enough contextuality in the opening paragraph.
No specific examples from the films to prove your points. The board when marking your exam questions may question if you could have made these assumptions without watching any of these films. Make it explicit that you have a thorough understanding of these films in terms of Genre, Narrative & Audience.

I think that the transition over from Davids blog to the main one should now eliminate this delay.
Well done for keeping on top and up to date.
