Moving image Text - Fantastic Beasts Trailer


In this trailer you can see that it is polysemic which means they have more than one meaning contained within them.

The language used on this moving image text has writing of the title and credits at the end of the trailer so people understand what the film actually is.

Technical Codes:

        - Technical Code
The camera shots that have been used in this trailer has a lot of panning used throughout this piece. The reason for this is to show the surroundings and where they have filmed the film to show the theme by panning to the surroundings. The lighting used in this trailer has changed throughout this trailer, it starts in a dark lighting to represent mystery. Then the trailer lightens in the middle to show happiness and then it starts to darken again to represent the build up of what is going to happen next.
The use of colour in this trailer are very bright to show who the target audience is aimed for, so for younger children as they use bright luminous colours to represent that they all live in a world of peace.

        - Visual Code
In this trailer you can see that there is a lot of people dressed up in suits to represent that they are a posh / working person. In this trailer you can also see the different expressions seen on the characters faces, this can suggest what type of genre the film might be by deciding whether it is a comedy or thriller type film.  

         - Audio Code

The audio codes can either be Diegetic or non-diegetic throughout the trailer. Diegetic sounds are mise-en-scene that can be heard by the characters in the scene. Non-diegetic sound is when the people in the scene cannot hear the noise such as music being played over the track where the people in the scene are unable to actually hear the sound.

Dialogue has been used in the trailer so the audience can understand the purpose of the film to try and attract their target market. There are also sound effects in this trailer that have been used in this trailer such as when the building starts to collapse you can hear the sounds of the building actually falling which can be seen as a sound affect. There is also music over the top of this trailer to make the trailer build up from slow soft music to loud and rough music towards of the end of the trailer.
