Digitalisation

Before, digitalisation they would use a record and have to have a record player to be able to listen to music which was very delicate and could get scratched easily.
The use of digitalisation was first introduced in the late 1970s and soon replaced analogue in the late 1990 - 2000s.
Soon, other forms of digital devices were created such as 'Youtube' or 'Spotify'.

Talent Competition

The talent of competition would be the new form of digital music software such as Spotify which must have a subscription to use for free access however, iTunes is one of its main competitors since they both hold millions of songs that can be accessed. Amazon Prime is also another example of a main competitor as they all offer music at a price however, Spotify is paid monthly and iTunes and Prime is where you pay for each song separately.

This is when someone copies and distributes copies of this record which the artist has not given consent.
