No Country For Old Men
Layout
The layout of this film cover is very simple, this is because in the centre there is a title which is very large so it can catch people's eyes to think of the film and the stars in the film encase people will just watch the film to see those characters. At the very top of the front cover they have put an announcement that the have won 4 academy awards to try and entice people to go and buy the DVD.
Main Image
The main image is the man running away from a moving car while dropping loads of money. This shows that the film has some chase scenes and tells the audience that the film is going to be about crime and some sort of violence to rob something or someone.
Colour & Lighting
The colour used in this image is very bright. The reason for this is because it can resemble different types of genre for example it uses yellow that can show elements of mystery. The lighting that is used shows that the bottom is brighter than the top which can suggest to the readers that it there is a lot of action and the further in the film it will build up.
Themes
The themes used is a wild west theme, this is because you can see a vechical in a desert chasing down a man running with money in a suitcase which is typically there to represent an old western theme.
